What an unforgettable GSX 2025 in New Orleans. Parker Group had an incredible time connecting with security leaders, sharing innovative ideas, and diving deep into the industry’s future. We hit the showroom floor, absorbed insights and led educational sessions, and yes, of course, indulged in a few (or more!) beignets. We successfully highlighted our mission to share how AV over IP solutions can tackle unseen security risks, while still managing to have fun in the Big Easy.
Jazzing Up Security
At the Infragard booth, we demonstrated AVenue, our powerful AV over IP solution. Many professionals working in global control rooms, training facilities, and mission-critical environments stopped by to learn more about the capabilities of AVenue. Attendees experienced firsthand AVenue’s ability to securely and effortlessly capture, record, store, replay, and share high-resolution AV content. The synchronous recording of dozens of IP streams with full DVR-style controls was a true standout for many viewers. Our successful collaboration with InfraGard at their booth gave visitors a close look at AVenue’s seamless integration. These live demonstrations effectively exhibited how our recording and playback solution works in real time and can transform an organization’s control room.
The Power of Visualization
The educational sessions at GSX were eye-opening and insightful. We were thrilled by the turnout for the panel featuring Parker Group CTO, Ray May, and VuWall Director of Business Development, Nick Mathis. Their session on leveraging visualization technology for critical incident management in command-and-control rooms provided groundbreaking takeaways. Attendees left with a deeper understanding of visual technology’s benefits and practical applications for improving incident responses and strategies for implementing interoperable systems. Participants fully grasped how visual technology fosters collaboration and seamless information-sharing between departments in high-pressure environments.
Until Next Year
After reflecting on this week, we made great progress bridging AV, IT, and security, and the shared vision for smarter integration leading to sharper decisions. We hope you had a chance to swing by booth #3425 and perhaps even caught a glimpse of the “Oregon Sasquatch” and the “Honey Island Swamp Monster” battling it out for Mardi Gras Beads. The fun doesn’t stop here, because next we’re heading to AFCEA and I/ITSEC. Join us and keep the conversations going.
